Minimum Bench Fee: $25.00  This includes a diagnostic estimate and physical removal of dust from ventilation and heat sinks, and is free of charge if service is performed. 

To resolve software issues, we basically offer two options:

Option #1:

Windows Reinstallation - Hard drive is formatted (completely erased), and all software is reinstalled.  All activation codes must be provided to install any licensed software.  ONCE AGAIN, ALL PROGRAMS WILL HAVE TO BE REINSTALLED!  THIS INCLUDES MICROSOFT OFFICE.  Also, any customizations, wireless access passwords, printers, other peripherals, etc. will need to be reconfigured.  This process usually takes 1 to 3 days and costs $100.00, which includes: drivers, Windows updates, FREE SECURITY SOFTWARE, and other FREE software for cd/dvd burning, OpenOffice.org, Java, Adobe Flash and Reader, etc.

Option #2:

What we like to call a "Clean Up" - We go through numerous steps to rid your system of malicious software, perform necessary updates, install our recommended FREE security software, while leaving your overall system (files, programs, customizations, etc.) in place.  Usually, this process takes much longer and is not as effective at removing ALL of your software issues.  The only warranty we offer is a FREE WINDOWS REINSTALLATION (OPTION #1) within 30 days of service.  The charge is normally $150.00. 

Standard Hourly Labor Rate: $50.00

Priority Service Fee: $50.00  We will make your issue our top priority.  Many of our business customers are happy to see us 30 minutes to an hour after they call!  Some problems just cannot wait.

Pick-up Service Fee: $15.00  An University PC Care employee will come to your location and pick-up your PC and also bring it back after the work has been completed. 

On-Site Service Fee:  $30.00  This is a per-visit fee for an University PC Care employee to come to your location to help resolve your PC issue. (This fee is subject to increase for jobs lasting longer than three hours) 
**Please Note: Certain jobs require more time or multiple trips to perform on site.  In return, may carry an increased price.  For example, a Windows reinstall (including document backup, Windows Updates and Drivers) usually cost $125 when you bring in your CPU.  The same job, completed on-site, easily costs $210.
