All of the Services at University PC Care are performed by trained IT Professionals with years of experience - unlike what you'll get from Geek Squad and other chain-store shops. Our staff are interested in helping you resolve your problems and saving you money. Below are some of the services that we offer:

Home and Home Office
Hardware Installation - Any hardware service has a minimum $20 bench fee.  If your service costs more, this is waived.
Printers, scanners, hard drives, optical drives, and expander slots such as extra video cards, USB cards, modem cards, network cards and much more)

Laptop Service - Power issues?  Have to hold the plug a certain way?  Battery not charging?  We can fix adapters, batteries, hinges, LCD (Screens), keyboards, and other components.  Why go buy a new computer when yours is this easy to fix?

Laptop Cleaning Service - Laptop getting really hot?  Does your computer cut itself off after 10-45 minutes?  This could be due to your laptop overheating.  Let us take your laptop apart and remove the debris from the ventalation system and fans.  Your $10 bottle of canned air just isn't going to cut it.  Read more about this service...

Software Installation :
Please be sure to bring all the materials that came with the software you purchased such as CD Keys, Installation manuals and the box)

Computer Cleanup Service  - Let us check your computer for all of the latest viruses and spyware. If we find any, we will remove it. This service also comes with lifetime Anti-Virus and Free Spyware scanners!  Read more about this service...

Anti-Virus Software - We don’t try to sell you Symantec’s Norton or any other heavily priced software.   The software we recommend and install is 100% FREE to home users.  Daily updates and real-time protection is included.  While no security software we’ve ever seen is 100% secure, this option is highly used and recommended by millions of internet users.

Anti-Spyware - While our main security software includes anti-spyware protection, one program or company is on top of this serious spyware epidemic.  It is our recommendation that you have other anti-spyware programs from at least 3 other sources to fully rid your system of current spyware infections present on the internet today.  In all reality even three of the top recommended anti-spyware solutions are not capable of removing 100% of all infections.  This is why your common “Windows Reinstallation” is highly recommended yearly for average internet users.

Windows Reinstall - While specific problems are easily resolved by our technicians, if you have a serious infection and multiple issues, it is usually cost efficient to just perform the reinstallation.  Read more about this service...

Onsite Service

Home Networking - $30 flat fee plus hourly rate
Let us setup your wired or wireless network in your house so all of your PC's can share the same resources such as internet, printers or files.

Remote PC Support - $5 per connection and $1 per minute connected
Using the internet and just a few moments of your time, we can connect to your computer without you having to bring it in!  (High Speed Internet connection required) If you are interested in this service, click here to learn more.

Pickup Service -
We can come to YOU to pickup your laptop or desktop computer.

New PC Setup - $30 flat fee plus hourly rate
Don't want to unhook your cables or carry a heavy PC? We can pick it up and bring it back once the work is completed.

Data Backup -

Business

New PC Setup - $30 flat fee plus hourly rate
Is your office getting new computers? Need someone to come in to set everything up right, the first time?

Onsite Service - $30 flat fee plus hourly rate

Having a problem with one of your existing office machines? Let our experienced workers diagnose and repair it.  This is a per-visit fee for an University PC Care employee to come to your location to help resolve your PC issue. (This fee is subject to increase for jobs lasting longer than three hours) **Please Note: Certain jobs require more time or mulitple trips to perform on site.  In return, may carry an increased price.  For example, a Windows reinstall (including document backup, Windows Updates and Drivers) usually cost $125 when you bring in your CPU.  The same job, completed on-site, easily costs $210.

Don't loose critical business documents due to hardware failure or natural disaster. Keeping an offsite backup of important electronic information is very important!
