Our Story

Ashton James, now President of University PC Care, considers himself lucky. He knew what he wanted to do in his early teenager years. Ashton had a knack for working on computers and his family and friends caught on… this is where the story begins.

2006

Ashton and his child-hood friend Josh Harrison started repairing computers in a small space in University Auto Care. University Auto Care is owned by Ashton’s father, Jackie James.

2007

Continued offering the best services and prices to the University area. While continuing to grow and develop the business.

2008

University PC Care moved to it’s current location on Fire Tower Road. “We went from a 200-square-foot operation to a 1,200-square-foot operation. … It’s a really big upgrade from what we had before. We can actually stretch out our arms. If you did that before, you would knock something off the shelves.”

2009

Growth continued as the business doubled from the previous year.

2010

Went from a two man operation to a three man operation when Ashton and Josh hired Will. With the now three man operation the level of service remained the same while offering faster turn-around times.

Mid-2011

Josh left University PC Care to accomplish his life-long dream of working in ministry while Ashton hired Brad to bring his knowledge of Macs and many years of IT experience into the mix.
