Pokémon Go

Pokémon Go

What is this?

Pokémon Go is a popular augmented reality (AR) game that allows players to enjoy the familiar world of Pokémon by getting out into the real world with their mobile devices to catch, train, and battle their Pokémon against other trainers. If you haven’t heard of it, you can get the full details on the game from the official website, https://www.pokemongo.com.

With our hosted map of the Greenville area, we hope to enhance our local Pokémon trainers’ experience with the game by allowing them to check on Pokémon spawns, gyms, raids, and Pokéstops without having to be physically present at a specific location. We all lead busy lives and, as fun as the game can be, we’re not always available to be on location to check gym statuses or plan raids. With this map, University PC Care hopes to fill in that gap to provide trainers with a reliable and up-to-date map for our residents and visitors alike.

How does it work?

Simple! Just go to https://pokemap.universitypccare.com and start enjoying the map. You can choose what information is displayed on the map by using the Options icon (looks like a gear) in the top left corner of the map. By default, only Gyms, Raids, and lured Pokéstops are visible on the map, but you can customize this to your own needs.

Feedback and contributions

Your feedback is always welcome! Email us at pokemap@universitypccare.com if you have comments or suggestions on how to improve the map. For now, know that we aim to expand our coverage to a greater portion of the areas surrounding Greenville including Simpson, Winterville and beyond.

We provide this service completely free of charge, which means we are not looking to accept donations. Contributions in the form of referrals to your family and friends are greatly appreciated, though! Also, don’t forget to like us on Facebook!
